This rustic camp has been built around all the original animals paths, so one shares the camp with the animals. Each thatched chalet (5 large and 2 small) has an en-suite bathroom, with a comfortable veranda from which to watch the prolific bird life and animals that wander past....including elephants, bushbuck etc...
Chris and Charlotte McBride, your hosts, have spent most of their lives in the bush. Born in Johannesburg, Chris McBride is an avid student of wildlife and after doing a thesis on lions for an MSc degree, he wrote the well respected books, Liontide and the White Lions of Timbavati which was translated into eight languages. Chris and Charlotte will accompany you on walks, stopping, listening, ambling, watching in the wilderness of this remote and beautiful area, before returning you to the camp to enjoy delicious fire cooked meals....
